What is mobile detailing?
Mobile detailing is our personalized service where our expert team of detailers come to your home or office with their equipment and provide you the services without any of the hassle. Whether is is exterior detailing, ceramic coating , paint correction or interior cleaning for your vehicle. Our mobile detailing offers convenience because it's right at your doorstep and saves time from going to an auto wash, detailer or car dealership for services.
WHAT DOES A HAND WASH ENTAIL?
The process of hand washing a car is one that takes attention to detail and care.
- We start by cleaning the dirtiest part of your car, the wheels. Each wheel is pre-rinsed, then hand washed from the inner barrel, wheel face and finally to the rubber tire.
- Now it's time to decontaminate paint and remove minor tar/bugs using a clay bar. The clay bar or iron decontamination is a way to remove all the additional embedded impurities in your vehicle's paint. These impurities are something that requires a mechanical (hand and removal product like clay bar) to fully dislodge from your paint - beyond washing.
- Once decontamination process has begun, we start the actually wash process. We begin with the most efficient way possible, ensuring that all dirt, mud or bugs are removed from every surface, we use a pre-rinse foam cannon that pulls dirt from the top of the vehicle down and completely off the vehicle.
- Next use the two bucket technique with one for a PH neutral soapy water and another for rinsing clean water.
- Then rinse off any soap with fresh water before moving on to spraying down each tire individually.
- Now the vehicle's paint, wheels and body have been cleaned, we begin our dressing and glass process. Every window pane gets cleaned completely for any water spots and all rubber, vinyl, and trim gets dressed.
- Once complete, your vehicle is spotless from top to bottom. Our process is very thorough as we take pride in displaying your vehicle was detailed by Stotties Auto Detailing.
